"Il Poggio" of Human Fraternity
"Keep the fire alive but don't worship the ashes" (G. Mahler)
Il Poggio is a place of peace, open to all, which for decades has been inviting believers and non-believers to meditate, immersed in Nature, admiring the beauty of the Countryside and the Mediterranean.
* In 2019, it was named after Filiberto Guala, who, with the opening, in 1972 of the 'Madonna della Fiducia' spiritual center at the Monastery of San Biagio in Mondovì, became a forerunner of ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue.
